A. Booking Policies

Cruise Booking Policy

When you book an ocean cruise with us, you receive a confirmed reservation once we receive your deposit. We work with all major lines including Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity, and Disney.

Cruise Reservation Policy & Deposit Policy

A deposit (typically $250–$500 per person) is required to hold your reservation. The deposit is usually non-refundable but can sometimes be transferred to a future cruise. Full details are provided at the time of booking.

Cruise Final Payment Policy

Final payment is normally due 60 to 90 days before sailing, depending on the cruise line and itinerary length. Late payments may result in automatic cancellation.

Cruise Price Guarantee & Best Price Guarantee Policy

We offer a best price guarantee on most ocean cruises. If you find the same sailing for less within 48 hours of booking, we will match it and often add onboard credit.

Cruise Booking Terms and Conditions

All bookings are subject to the cruise line’s terms and conditions. We provide a clear summary before you pay. You can request the full contract at any time.

Cruise Waitlist Policy & Group Booking Policy

We maintain waitlists for sold-out sailings. For groups of 8 or more, we offer special rates, flexible payment options, and dedicated support.

B. Cancellation & Refund Policies

Cruise Cancellation Policy

You can cancel most ocean cruises for a full refund (minus deposit) if done 60–90+ days before departure. Closer to sailing, cancellation fees apply.

Cruise Refund Policy & Timeline

Refunds are typically processed within 30–60 days. Credit card refunds go back to the original card. Future Cruise Credits are issued faster.

D. Name Change Policies

Name corrections are free if made early. Legal name changes (marriage, passport updates) require documentation. Guest substitution or replacement usually carries the same cancellation rules as a new booking.

E. Minors, Infants & Family Policies

Infant Policy: Most lines require infants to be at least 6 months old (some require 12 months for transatlantic or long voyages).
Child & Teen Policy: Kids 2–17 sail at reduced rates. Many lines offer “Kids Sail Free” promotions.
Unaccompanied Minor: Available on most ships for ages 8–17 with extra supervision fees.
Family Travel: Connecting cabins, kids clubs, and family suites are widely available.

F. Age Policies

Minimum age to sail is usually 6 months. Drinking age is 21. Casino access is 18 or 21 depending on the ship and port. Spa and fitness center restrictions vary by line.

G. Passport & Documentation Policies

A valid passport is required for most ocean cruises, especially those visiting foreign ports. For closed-loop cruises from the USA (same port out and back), a birth certificate + photo ID may be accepted for U.S. citizens. Always check your specific itinerary.

H. Check-In & Boarding Policies

Online check-in opens 30–45 days before sailing. Arrive at the port 2–4 hours before departure. Late arrivals may be denied boarding. Bring your boarding pass and all travel documents.

I. Luggage Policies

Most ocean cruises allow 2 suitcases per person. Carry-on bags are limited. Prohibited items include weapons, irons, and certain liquids. Lost or damaged luggage claims must be filed onboard.

J. Cabin Policies

Cabins are assigned at booking. Upgrades are subject to availability. Accessible cabins require medical documentation. Single occupancy usually costs 150–200% of the per-person rate.

K. Medical Policies

Pregnancy: Most lines require a doctor’s note after 24 weeks. Many do not allow sailing after 24–28 weeks.

Wheelchair & Mobility Scooters: Allowed with advance notice. Limited number per ship.

Prescription Medication: Bring enough for the entire trip plus extra in carry-on.

Vaccination Policy: Varies by destination and current health guidelines.

L. Accessibility Policies

All major ocean cruise lines provide accessibility services, accessible cabins, and assistance for guests with disabilities. Service animals are welcome with proper documentation. Contact us early so we can arrange the right cabin and support.

M. Dining Policies

Main dining is included. Specialty restaurants cost extra. Most ships offer vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly options. Kosher and Halal meals are available with advance notice. Beverage packages are popular add-ons.

N. Internet & Technology Policies

Wi-Fi packages are available for purchase. Mobile phones work at sea (roaming fees apply). Drones are generally prohibited. Streaming services usually do not work well at sea.

O. Smoking & Alcohol Policies

Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Vaping is treated the same as smoking. Marijuana is not allowed on any U.S.-based cruise. You may bring one bottle of wine per adult; corkage fees may apply in restaurants.

P. Pets & Service Animals

Pets are not allowed on ocean cruises. Certified service animals and guide dogs are welcome with proper documentation and advance notice.

Q. Safety & Security Policies

All guests must attend a mandatory muster drill. Weapons, illegal drugs, and certain items are prohibited. The cruise line has the right to deny boarding for safety reasons.

R. Financial Policies

We accept major credit cards. Installment plans are available on many sailings. Gratuities are usually added automatically. Onboard credit can be purchased as a gift.

S. Shore Excursion Policies

Booked through the cruise line are fully refundable if cancelled 24–48 hours before. Independent excursions are at your own risk. Accessible excursions are available with advance notice.

T. Loyalty Program Policies

Most major lines have loyalty programs. Points and status are earned per sailing. We can help you maximize benefits and sometimes match status from other programs.

U. Onboard Policies

Dress codes are usually casual with formal nights. Pools are open during set hours. The casino is 18+ or 21+. Kids clubs are available for ages 3–17. Photography is allowed but commercial use requires permission.

V. Travel Insurance Policies

We strongly recommend travel insurance for every ocean cruise. It can cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and more. Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage is available as an upgrade on many plans.

W. Special Travel Policies

Solo travelers, seniors, military, students, and teachers often qualify for discounts. Honeymoon and wedding packages are available. Group travel receives special pricing and amenities.

X. Post-Cruise Policies

Lost and found items are held for 30–90 days. Complaints should be submitted in writing within 30 days of sailing. Future cruise credits must usually be used within 12–24 months.
