Cruise Booking Policies

Simple and fair policies so you know exactly what to expect. We work with all major cruise lines.

QUICK SUMMARY
  • Most cancellations are free 60–90 days before sailing
  • Deposits are usually non-refundable
  • We recommend travel insurance for peace of mind
  • Policies can vary by cruise line — we’ll explain yours clearly

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms depend on the cruise line, how long before departure you cancel, and the specific sailing. Here are general guidelines:

Days Before Sailing Typical Cancellation Fee
90+ daysUsually full refund (deposit may be kept)
61–89 days25%–50% of fare
46–60 days50% of fare
31–45 days75% of fare
30 days or less100% of fare (no refund)

Note: These are general guidelines. Your exact policy will be explained at booking and provided in your confirmation.

Deposits & Payments

Most cruises require a deposit when you book (often $250–$500 per person). The remaining balance is usually due 60–90 days before sailing.

We accept major credit cards and offer payment plans on many cruises.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. It can protect you if you need to cancel for medical reasons, if the cruise line cancels your sailing, or for trip interruptions. We offer competitive plans from trusted providers.

Insurance is optional but gives you extra flexibility.

Changes to Your Booking

Changes to names, dates, or staterooms are usually possible up to 30–45 days before departure, depending on the cruise line. Many changes are free or low-cost if done early.

What if the cruise line cancels my cruise?

In the rare case a cruise is cancelled by the line, you will usually receive a full refund or a future cruise credit. We will help you rebook or get your money back.

These policies are general. For your specific cruise, we will send you the exact terms. Have questions?
