Everything you need to know about booking, deposits, payments, and guarantees on major ocean cruise lines.
When you book an ocean cruise through CruiseBookUSA, your reservation is secured once we receive your deposit. We book directly with the cruise line on your behalf.
We can place a temporary hold on many sailings for 24–72 hours while you decide. This is subject to availability.
A deposit of $250–$500 per person is typically required to confirm your booking. Deposits are usually non-refundable but may be transferred to a future cruise in some cases.
Final payment is due 60–90 days before sailing for most ocean cruises. Some longer voyages require payment earlier. Late payment can result in automatic cancellation.
We guarantee the lowest price. If you find the identical sailing for less within 48 hours of booking, we will match it and often add onboard credit.
Groups of 8 or more guests qualify for special rates, flexible payment schedules, and complimentary upgrades on many sailings.
If your preferred sailing is sold out, we can add you to the waitlist. You are not charged until space becomes available.
Promotional fares may have stricter rules. Cabin upgrades are subject to availability and can often be requested at the time of booking or onboard.
Future cruise credits issued by the line are typically valid for 12–24 months and can be used on most sailings (subject to terms).
